At RARE, we are dedicated to a single mission—to help our boys and girls master the English language. We firmly believe that anyone can develop excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with proper education and guidance. Our students learn that they can be just as proficient in English as they are in their mother-tongues and can be equally comfortable in both cultures.
Since English is a global language, we know that our students can go confidently out into the world and unleash their full potential knowing that communication will never be a problem for them.
We are familiar with the curricular plans of schools in different education boards. Our students do not feel any added pressure because we tailor their education to their school’s framework. At the same time, we develop within them a love for the language and the literature, teach them strategies for success, and give them the self-confidence to thrive in any professional environment.
We coax our students away from video games and TV serials and guide them towards the wonderful world of books. Reading regularly helps them develop excellent comprehension and analytical skills, and nothing gives us more joy than to see their imagination and creativity grow. We watch proudly as they broaden their horizons through books and meet wonderful people and creatures who teach them how to be kind, generous and good human beings.
Through nearly three decades of teaching experience at RARE, we have developed the following methods to ensure our students’ success:
· give equal weightage to literature, grammar, writing skills and comprehension
· emphasise the importance of regular reading habits (English)
· draw upon current experiences and events to explain important concepts
· provide regular practice through class work and homework
· provide detailed correction of students’ work
· ensure that students make the necessary corrections
· evaluate student progress regularly through tests (short and long)
· monitor student’s work regularly and provide assistance
We are grateful that through the process of teaching English we have been given the opportunity to lead our students to a better world.
